High Octane SPRL - Article - Importing Requirements into EA from Excel

You can use the CSV import export features.

Easiest way:

* create a package with or two dummy requirements
* export them to a CSV file (include all fields in the xport spec)¨
* have a look at the resulting CSV
* massage your requirements list in XLS so that they have the same columns
as the ones in the export
* save the XLS as a CSV so that the CSV is in a format that is ok for EA
(see your sample export)
* import the CVS and you are done !
