What is it ?

 It's all about "Unleashing the power of collaboration".

CollaborativeAID is a Collaborative Development Environment (CDE) server. It is a community-oriented central repository that:

  1. disseminates understanding/knowledge in order for a small/large group to work towards a common goal (ie. project, campaign, plan)
  2. is unbound by the dimensions of location, time and technology
  3. acts as a portal for unlocking information and empowering collaboration

AID is fast becoming an essential tool to help organizations move to an agile business model. A model characterised as:

  1. the ability to respond to change
  2. high collaboration/interaction between all participants to get the job done better/faster
  3. traveling light enough to change directions when required

We are currently busy using the tool for our own purposes and it really rocks ! I am working with Ashin on some extensions, trying to write my own document compiler for special purposes and it works well. For the record, he is in Australia and I am in Belgium. Talk about remote collaboration !
